Attended Chelsea's baptism at Trinity @ Paya Lebar. It was a total new experience for me attending her church and #mindblown moment when I realise her baptism pool is right in the middle of the stage!!!! :O And according to her the water is heated, imagine the warmth. :) Anyway, am so proud of my dearest good friend! Brunch with Javier's Rotisserie and Salad Bar with love. This is Aston's sister restaurant; opened by the same boss! And if you know me, I love some mashed potatoes and beef. hehehe, they were simply delicious. Gonna go back for more one day! And I swear, the table next to us, who were two girls, had more food than us. It was a mountain I swear! Plus they ordered two other items (baked macaroni or rice? I couldn't remember). Warriors!

Spent yesterday night, right after lecture and my project meeting, with the best clique on earth! Wouldn't imagine what Polytechnic would be like without them. Year 2 was honestly, the best time cause projects didn't felt much like much burden with them around.
Since 85 market was done for renovation, we went to the next best place, Chomp Chomp!!! I still miss my bak chor mee though. :( Went for Udders later on. Love all jokes and talks and stupid stuffs that we do together. :) More meetups soon! Can't wait.

And Here's The Dragon

Here was how I started off the Dragon Year. Did the usual, went to my grandma's house to bai nian, camwhored in our (me and my sister takes ownership of that vacant room) room in my grandma's house, love came over in the afternoon and the night was dedicated to my mom's side. Then the next day I went over to Love's place to collect more ang baoooooo!
And finally, after 30 (-3 hours of nap time in between) hours of camping in front of the computer because of my FYP with my groupmates in my house, went off to bai nian with the most exhausted face of the year. At least I managed to pass through the day without having to fall in my heels. And now I may have the tendency to triple edit my post, or not.
P/s: the hair was super easy to do! Both in less than 10 minutes. Ah, the reason why I love CNY is cause you can't bun up your hair without having people to call you China doll. :)

Decided to do a little red this Chinese New Year Eve. And believe it or not, I tied my hair in the train from Simei to City Hall with all judging eyes staring at me. Hahaha.

Had reunion gathering thrice this year. First was brunch with Ignatius and family in Quality Hotel. Late afternoon with my dad's side at Paradise Inn (picture above!) and lastly, steamboat at home with mum's side. If I were to tell you that I'm not full and did not put on at least 5kg, I'll just be pulling your leg. Anyway have a Blessed Chinese New Year all readers, Singapore or not. :) Collect many ang baos! hehehe. I know I will.

Tried on the much raved about Box n sticks at 14 Aliwal Street. The weather was perfect for tanning today. Pretty much wanted to hop into a mall for its air condition whenever I can. But the ambience at this place was pretty good, and a thumbs up for their excellent customer service! Even though the food wasn't anything special, the tiramisu is a must try! I loved it. :)

Spent the short day out in God's house. Made it back home even though I was half asleep and half worried that the east west line might have a train delay. Continued the day with one assignments after another, and maybe a nap in between? Hehehe. Can't wait for Chinese New Year suddenly. I'm already all prepped up cause I've got for myself two dresses already. May hunt for more.
P/s: The boyfriend got me this dress less than a year ago. Sometimes I really doubt his taste but it all seemed so nice when I'd pieced all these together. Thanks love!

Celebrated Ignatius Ian's 20th birthday with his family on the 5th at Thai Pan! They really good food, ahhh currently craving for their chicken and seafood fried rice now. Really happy that love likes my birthday present for him. (of course he did, I bought for him Need For Speed Hot Pursuit. What was I thinking?) and made this photo frame + birthday card. Yayyy Happy Birthday love! x

Continued his birthday celebration today around Town area. Gave him a good treat at Pique Nique cause the boy loves fries and let me tell you, their fries are currently top of my list!! Wouldn't mind paying $7+ for just their fries! Surprised him with two cakes and got complimented by him that I'm more romantic than him. Hehehe I'm such a sucker for such stuffs maybe that's why?

Two Thousand And Twelve

Ended 2011 by spending it with love at a location where I'm not exact sure where we were at. But it was really cozy, and the only things missing were picnic mat and good food and wine to accompany us. Maybe we'll do that at the end of 2012.
As for this year, I'm really grateful and feel so blessed with everything that's happened to me. With another new year already here, let's just say, BRING ON 2012! Can't wait to start the new calendar of events all over again and hopefully this year I'll be having more fun as I'll be starting a new chapter of my life. More on that, so now here's a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my readers. x

Land of Smiles (Part 2)

Did I mention how good Pathumwan Princess Hotel's breakfast buffet is!? Woke up early in the morning (which I usually would not as I love my bed) for two days straight just to indulge in their scrambled / poached / sunny side up eggs, porridge, bacons and hams and more! Went around the city to shop once again but started off at Central World and ended it off at Platinum Mall. (yes, again!) Honestly, I can't wait to go back there for their shopping again. :)
Had a nice dinner at MK for some steamboat. I highly recommend everyone to give that place a try! It's really good, and quite cheap as well! And oh yes, had dessert @ Swensen's later on. Love their service and servings!!! It was really cheap plus they served like 1 1/2 more than they do there in Singapore, what a good deal right?
Kind of upset to leave Bangkok, but it couldn't have ended on a better note than to stop at our last shopping destination. So near to the plane, but not, got a couple of stuffs from Victoria Secrets! Can't wait to use them. Hehe.

Land of Smiles (Part 1)

Arrived at the Land of Smiles on a Monday afternoon. After getting horrible service attitudes by air stewardesses on the plane and at the airport, finally experienced their actual smiley positive services at the hotel. Love everything about Pathumwan Princess, from the breakfast to the hotel room to how close it is to MBK. Didn't do much on the first day but just tried out their thai food and came to a conclusion that thais really love their food / drinks to be extremely sweet or extremely hot or extremely salty.
So started off day two with a half day tour. Was expecting a floating market ride but they sort of cheated and lied to us? Shouldn't have went and spent it on getting my Krispy Kreme instead, grrrr! Anyhows, spent rest of the day at Platinum Fashion Mall which is literally the best mall that you can ever get lost but still happily shop in!!! :D Had dinner at Fuji, which in my opinion is like Singapore's Sakae Sushi but a less tasty version. (Craving for sushi as I'm typing this) Ended every night with shopping at a night market near our hotel. Oh life's good with cheap shopping and food and cab everyday.

Day before I left for Bangkok, spent the day with Ignatius Ian. Had brunch at Rock n Ash, love their free flow soup plus drinks! Hahaha. We had a movie marathon over at WE Cinemas; watched both New Year's Eve and The Muppets! The first was really good, love the cast, the plot and how it flowed nicely together. I feel like Ignatius is a better movie predictor than I am. OH AND NOT FORGETTING HOW ADORABLE AND HOT ZAC EFRON AND JAKE T AUSTIN ARE!!!

The Muppets was kinda boring in a way, and honestly the only reason why I watched it is cause of the 30 secs x 3 shots of Selena Gomez (and maybe NPH). I may be joking, or not. :)

Attended the McDonald's winner draw on Thursday evening. Not an ideal time / day / location for a school girl like me as I had class till 6pm. Rushed down and fortunately found the place without the help of my iPhone but with a random stranger. It's times like these that I love talking to strangers.

Was joined by Ignatius after an hour of being solely stranded amongst unknown faces. Walked away with a $100 movie card by WE Cinemas and later was dinner with the love of my life. ♥

2nd attempt to Casa D'angelo as the previous date we didn't make any reservations, and since the place was too small to accomodate just two of us / having to run into the situation that they are running out of pizzas at 6pm, we had to make another trip down.
It was one-for-one pizza from Groupon. Really love how crispy the pizzas were and how Ignatius Ian will always save the crust for me, even though I know how much he likes it too. Hehehe. Ended my night by spending it in God's place, while my parents went Giant / Ikea shopping again without me. Thank goodness they takeaway four chicken wings for me this time. Hahaha. :)

Spent my off day celebrating this 6 year long friend's birthday, Chelsea Chew! Feeling so blessed to have her in my life because she's truly one of those I can pour anything out to and also joke about anything with! So, Blessed Birthday my dear! Started off by stalking her while she was making her way to Pique Nique, that girl got lost! :b Anyway the ambience was fabulous, love how olden + classy it felt. And to top that off, had the best burger and fries as well! Definitely coming back here for more and to try their desserts too, it really looks good. Caught Happy Feet 2 with the penguin-obsessed Chelsea and she kept EEEEEric! Ah well, at least I got the mini conetto! heh heh. The dancing penguins were so cute and yes, I'm going to wiki their OST now so that I can ~~illegally~~ download it! :D

After being not able to fill our stomachs with Groupon's pizza and having to postpone it to Friday may have made me a little adventurous. Took on a bus with Ignatius to Robertson Quay as I was craving for somewhat similar to an all day breakfast. Head to Kith Cafe. Love the ambience of the surrounding, so peaceful, if only I've an apartment there next time. If only.
As I was saying about my spontaneous journey. Walked randomly around the area for awhile and to the nearest bus stop so that we could grab some Ben and Jerry's before going back home for dinner. This marathon of food no doubt made me feel so ~~fat~~ full by the end of the day. But off day well spent I must say, less than 15 work days till internship ends! Can't wait! And can't wait for my date with @chelseacsm on Tuesday. :)

Had an awesome day spent with love even though the past few weeks was just really, let's say restless. Have been so tired out from SIP and finally found the time to enjoy good food again! Yay! Dinner was at Live @ Teppan at West Coast Mall, we got Groupon! It was alright, same jap stuffs that you'll find in any ordinary restuarant. Was pretty disappointed that I didn't get to sit infront of the chef though, cause I thought that's what Teppanyakis are all about! Am thinking of going back to Sakae's soon, who's with me? :)

Spent my TGIF pigging out with Ignatius Ian only to realise at the end of my feast that I really should start doing more exercise instead of being such a pig that I'm born as all the time. But too late for that now. Had Seoul Gardens with my love. Spent most of the time cooking beef and more beefs for him instead of putting some on my plate. No wonder I could eat longer than him.

To Dessert First later on for some Tau Huey because of xiaxue.blogspot.com and Groupon.com. Xiaxue took a picture of the Tau Huey barrel and if you know me, I love eating things that are really special and innovative. Plus with the fact that Groupon offered me a good deal, how can I say no to this place right? :) Really loved the Tau Huey cause it was so soft. You can literally just swallow it down without "crushing" it, if you know what I mean. And I'd also love the fact that I can add my own sweetener cause I'll always spam a lot of it! :b Love said their durian waffle was really good, but he would much rather have the durian + waffle - the ice cream.

Monday afternoon was accompanied by sissypoo to BBQ Chicken cause I wanna spend my deals.sg coupon. The food was alright, but not the same as the previous. But they installed this new device where we could press the button to get their attention. Or would I say the whole store's attention. Hahaha. Wouldn't head there anytime soon though it's just a few minutes walk from my house. Oh Eastpoint, I'll only come to you for Daiso and NTUC now. #aunty4lyfe (Ok maybe to grab Starbucks too)

And ended the day by meeting the love of my life. Instead of having the normal dinner, Ignatius had a Sarpino pizza and since I was too full from late lunch as well, we had Gelare! Yayyy another Groupon down. hehehe. Ended up being too full to finish my waffle, but I love the silly times I have with him doing all the stupidest stuffs like playing with the 3D camera infront of this store. Hehehe.

Dinner with the love of my life after work. Never felt more relieve after taking off that uniform. Sigh I miss dressing up to school everyday. :( I can never have a job that requires me to wear uniforms. hahaha.

Anyway, finally used my Bakerzin groupon and tried their Curry rice while Ignatius had the Cabonara. Love my meal! Even though it looks a little like prisoner's food (the layout maybe). hahahaha. But everything was really good! The potatoes, the main and of course the macarons! :D Would definitely go back there for it again.

Had an awesome day out with her. Finally went to H&M (Nope I didn't get anything at all), shopped around Cineleisure with the intention of getting my daddy a Baggu bag but scored 2 tops at Editor's Market with Chelsea. Hehehe should really go back there soon again with bigger groups of people! :)

Walked up and down town hoping to spot cool advertisements or whatnots, and found these park swings that I couldn't resist but to take pictures with it! Hehe, it's not everyday that you'll find these in town right?

Anyway! Walked over to Strictly Pancakes and since we still had time to kill, we decided to visit the waffle-smelling mall opposite Prinsep Street and found this really cool puzzle shop that even the owner of the shop wanted to test our IQ. Hahaha but I must say we did not bad! ;) with a little coincidence as well uh. Hehe.

Being the kiasu-tizens that we are, we were one of the first few groups of people who got there early to grab the free tshirts!!!! No, not really actually. Hahaha I was just really hungry, and I'm sure Chelsea was too. :D Besides it was Strictly Pancakes' birthday! And we were entitled to 10% discount so yay! :) Saw the young bosses, Jo and Eunice, there and their food was good as usual. But maybe they could consider using better beef? Cause while I was cutting it bits and small pieces kept falling apart, which was really fustrating. :/

Ended the day by walking to the Cathedral and having a heart to heart talk. As cliche as it might sound, friends like these, hard to find.

Spent my last day of "freedom" (cause internship starts tomorrow. BOOO.) from having a meetup with my buyer, secretly went to get tix for Crazy Stupid Love first, surprisingly Ignatius Ian at Dover MRT to spending the rest of the night at KLP with him. ♥
Oh yes I must add the fact that Ignatius Ian literally stopped in slow-motion shock when he saw me standing near the train door while running for it before it closes. Unfortunately we didn't board that train but thank goodness we didn't cause the next one was less crowded.
Sneaked in ~~Island~~ Marble Slab Creamery into the cinema. Why am I always thinking that it's Island creamery!?!? Anyway, I needed to let you guys know that when I was in Marble Slab, I was really on the verge of stomping inside to do the mix in and all myself cause the fella was really slow. Oh well who am I to judge anyway? :) Just kidding! Come to ICC in Dec and I'll show you my power baby!
Ending off with a Crazy Stupid Love scene that I really love. Hehehe Emma Stone is truly one of my fav actresses! Everyone should catch this! (even though you may already have cause I really feel super slow in only catching it now. lol.)

Had a mini "celebration" with babykinz @ Botanic Garden just enjoying the cloudy weather and the view. If only it can be that peaceful and relaxing everyday. :) Oh how life challenges us with many obstacles. Hahaha.
Got up slightly earlier than usual to prepare all the food with Ignatius. And after all that, I'm declaring that he's not to step into my kitchen once we get married in the future. Yep. Oh yes, we actually slept when we were there despite the many creepy crawlies that were around us. Such pigs we are. ♥

Arch of Colours in a Cupcake

After spending the whole afternoon with Ignatius and Sis @ Marina Square + Suntec City watching Smurfs (not 3d) and having half priced waffles at Gelare, we'd decided to continue being busy bees by baking cupcakes! Yay!
So after dinner, we got to Eastpoint to get our supplies and also food for the next day's picnic with Ignatius. :) Hehehe. 'Ve always wanted to bake rainbow cupcakes so tahdahhhh!!!! It was really easy and manageable. Now you guys will know what I'll be doing in my free time, BAKING MORE CUPCAKES FOR ALL MY LOVED ONES. :D

P/s: Yes after watching Smurfs, the theme song did get stuck in our head for the rest of the day and we can't help but to sing it every other minute! Hehehe, everyone should catch the movie. Plus NPH is inside, duhhhh another reason to watch.

Lazy Monday

Spent my lazy first day of the week with bbkins sleeping in till late. Ordered Domino's and travelled all the way to Bugis hoping to have some tau huey but failed terribly cause we didn't check the operation hours. Apparently they close on Mondays. :( Boooo.

Long Sunday night I'd like to say. Dinner with the Ho Family, walked qt doggie Pumpkin, spent the time below the block playing with boyfee's little Lamborghini cause we obviously can't afford the real one while his parents are grooming the lil one.

Went for ice cream supper with Ignatius Ian, with him driving on the roads for the first time without his parents' guidance. Wanted to go to Haagen Daz but they ran out of waffles, so we insensitively walked out of the place and head to the nearby Udders hoping that we could enjoy some waffles. But lo and behold, they were washing their waffle machine already. Sigh, it wasn't meant to be. :( Anywayyyy had a really great night with him while relieving memories of our first few dates in Udders. (If you compare with this picture.) Ended the night with him driving me to 7-11 to get some pasta and watching X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Once Upon Another Noodee Day

Spent the whole day at town or around town area just shopping, spending time with friends and family and eating. :) It's like what I do best. Hehehe.
Initially planned on going to H&M's opening but after hearing from Ming Hui the day before that there are people actually queueing since 8pm the day before, we scraped that plan and head over to the flea market @ Scape instead! :) Chilled around at Once Upon A Milkshake before heading to Orchard Xchange to shop at F21. On the way there, got spotted by two groups of people and was asked to take pictures with them / mascot so that we can win something on FB or something like that. Hahaha I think all of these promotions that were going on on that day itself were just helping themselves to some free advertising to the H&M crowd. Oh yes speaking of the crowd, the queue was just insane and if you do follow me on Twitter you'll see all the pictures that I've twitpic-ed.
The night time was just dedicated to my family and yesss sissy and I had Noodee again (for me)! Hehehe. Why she so qt at the last picture! :)

So thanks to Groupon, I got to know about this place. The Noodee Box! And also that Marina Square's foodcourt renovated and it's so much better now with the new furnitures and decorations.
I always like the concept of eating in the box because I'd always see actors/actresses having them in some American TV shows. And I always wanted to try and know how it feels like! So yayyy! The box is made out of good quality material so kudos to them for not taking short cuts and I really love how you can actually carry them around, literally. Hahaha. More pictures of this in the next post cause I just had to let sissy know about this and obviously she was more excited than me about it! :)

Manhattan Fish Market for lunch and had their 1 for 1 dory fish + cheesy fries before studying. To be honest, I thought the amount of cheese was gonna be that much or more. But booooo, they gave us really little cheese even though the cheese was suppose to be the highlight of the dish or something like that. Ah well, nonetheless the manager on shift was really nice even though we didn't want to pay for extra cheese, he still gave us a complimentary small cup cheese.
Anyway, the weather was such a killer today. But kudos to my outfit, I don't really feel very warm at all! Okay maybe the only intolerable part was my hair which I bunned it up half of the time when I was out in the hot sun.

Had BBQ Chicken with Sissypoo and Ignatius on Thursday for brunch just cos' it's a new outlet in Eastpoint! Yayyy for better shops in the mall that I live near too. And in case you didn't know, Daiso is coming too!!! Three cheers for $2 always. I can totally live and stay in there forever. Hahahaha.
Anyway, BBQ chicken was good even though the money spent may not be worth it cause maybe I would rather pay more and dine at Swensen's or Pizza Hut, or pay a little lesser for Aston's. But oh well! The student deal will always be there to attract me back again, somehow. :) Everything was good. And I know right, who plays Monopoly deal while waiting for their food to be served. US! hahaha. :b

12th August 2011 - One Year Anniversary with Ignatius Ian HoI'll never forget that day baby. Thanks for planning all of these for me and for remembering my favvvv flower! hehehe, and your gifts and time too. I love you so muchhhh. :D
The boy picked me up from Plaza Sing in his cutest formal wear (cos of his school's interview) and off we went to town to get tix (nope he didn't tell me, but I sorta guessed it! hehehe) for the Singapore Flyer and head down to Mandrin Gallery for Wild Honey!
Ignatius had their American while I got the Canadian instead, with the Swiss as a "side dish" for both of us. The fat pancakes were good, but it was really too filling for me so only 1 1/2 ended up in my tummy. Hahaha. To the Flyer later on and yayyy I really love the ride. I love watching Singapore's scenery, actually any city's sceneries cos it's just the most calming thing you can do. Many people may think that it'll be a boring 20 mins ride but I really like it! hehehe. Sat by the water later for a while so that in the future, we can sing "Mine" by Taylor Swift (not like we can't before, but it just seems more real now) to each other and tell our children that "Mummy and Daddy dated here last time!" cause that's only the right thing to do. ♥♥♥

Had dinner at Feast @ East. It's located in the hotel opposite Parkway Parade! The food wasn't fantastic though I must say I really like the idea of having local food, buffet style!!! hahaha. Wish there was chicken rice, shark's fins, sushi, curry chicken, hokkien mee and stuffs like that. Wouldn't recommend nor would I head back there a second time. :/

Nonetheless, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA. I love you! Hope you like the birthday card + flower that my sister gave you early without informing me that she's giving it to you first. Boooo, made me looked as if I didn't had a share. Hahahaha.

Igy Day today! Hehe. Walked around town shopping for stuffs and eating more stuffs. From Cineleisure, to Mandrin Gallery, to Heeren, to Ion orchard, to Orchard Xchange, and lastly to FEP. My lecturer will be so proud of me for doing so many mall visits. Hahaha. Frolick with marshmallows was good as always, but the Pontian Wonton mee was kinda disappointing. It had this burnt smell but Ignatius claim that it doesn't. Oh well, still enjoyed their fried wontons! Hahaha.

p/s: This is probably one of my favourite high waisted shorts, cause it's soooooo comfortable! And I feel super good in it. Hehehe.

And followed by a dance battle that was happening in my 2nd living room which apparently I was the last individual to go, and I played the wrong song but we still won. Yay! Lastly got treated by an old man for dinner which I have no idea who he is but he seemed awfully nice in my dream. Oh yes! I had a small dog and a big dog in my dream too! I was bias cause I only liked the small qt one. Hehe. Love having dreams like this.

I feel like whenever I'm with Ignatius Ian, I'll always end up eating a lot. But not as much as him cause I'll always not finish my food and he will be the one finishing at least one and a half meals. Hahaha no wonder he has to go gyming that often. Oops! :)
But anyway, another saturday well spent with him. And instead of venturing into new places for food or shopping, we went by Century Square hoping to find Freshness Burger but it wasn't there anymore... weirdly... So we settled for Popeye's instead. I always have a thing for their seafood instead of chicken, am I weird? KFC is better in my opinion, but the boy thinks differently. Anyway, he had a haircut near his place. It was suppose to look like some Korean rockstar when the stylist styled it but since he was lazy, it just looks like that. Hahaha.
Dropped by ICC to disturb my best friend @jamiemiemie cause I miss her, but I secretly miss the ice cream more hahaha no luh, cause I wanted to try Strawberry Yogurt but who knew Iced Peach Tea was there as well and it's surprisingly nicer! Hehe. Had a simple dinner at home then it was study time! Yes we are eating again. #foreverfat

Mom caught the pinkish sky some time last week and called out to us to view it. It was really beautiful. Sometime I really wish I was staying by the beach so that I can watch the sunset/sunrise every other day or something. But most of the time I'll just be thinking why would someone want to stay by the beach as you'll only be staying in a super sandy house! Imagine having sand all over, sheesh. hahaha. Too much thoughts.
Anyway, the event at Vivo City finally ended today. Really tired, felt as if I've lived in Vivo City during the weekend. And maybe, just maybe I'd finally know my way around Vivo City. Hahaha. More updates on that later. Oh how I love school. :)

It's the end of an era

You might have expected me to post about this. How can I not right? It's the end of an era. Having post-Potter depression right now. I wish I'm living in Hogwarts, taught by some professor on Defence Against the Dark Arts, learning cool spells like Expecto Patronum so that I can find out what my patronus is, hanging out with the twins and getting pranked by them once or maybe ten times day and most of all seeing my favourite people especially Draco Malfoy.

But at least we all know that Harry Potter will always be in our hearts and Hogwarts will always be there for us. I will definitely re-read the book again and will definitely buy the complete Harry Potter DVDs. Gonna miss the casts being together, so much.

Here are some of my favourite parts of HP&DHP2 that I could find on YouTube, hopefully I'll be able to find more soon! And I can't wait for the deleted scenes too.

Had Tarafuku at 313 @ Somerset for Dad's birthday dinner in advance. Hahaha. I love how some of the food like the ebi tempura was so fresh and their chawanmushi too, nom nom nom. But the place that we were seated at were not too good, it was too hot and I was feeling a little dizzy due to lack of air. Would have eaten more though! Cause I was still feeling half hungry and regretted not touching some of the food. :/

Anyway, spent half of the time there snapping pictures and polaroids, dad and sis took one each already though so I couldn't get a picture of that! But yes, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDDDD I LOVE YOUUUU. ♥♥♥

Olive Vine's such a nice place to dine in! The prices are affordable and the portion is really huge. I don't know if it's just me but I can never finish it. Hahaha. And I absolutely love the pork chop with rice (mushroom sauce). Their mushroom sauce is really nice! Out of the three times I've been there, I'll always ask for extra sauce during two of my visits. Hahaha. I love everything about it. The soup, the ice lemon tea. Oh and yes, the best thing is that it's a Christian Restaurant! The decoration, music and there are books there for browsing too! P/s: There's no MSG in their food! ++++

I've experienced success during my times of failure and I'm really thankful for everything that's given to me since then. Every opportunity, I will seize it and it's either I make it, or break it.

Some of the values that I've picked up and internalized is to be more responsible and resilient. Throughout the years of growing up, you'll definitely mature and be more responsible. I have been taught to take up responsibilities in academic wise or other areas. Or to simply take responsible for actions that I've done, be it good or bad. It's never a good thing to push the blame to someone else cause only taking up the responsibility allows you to learn from your mistakes. Secondly, to be resilient. We are human, we have flaws. Having flaws and getting beaten by your faults, all these will make you stronger if you face up to them and take the challenge of overcoming them. It's because these flaws makes you stronger and it's makes up who you are.

I've developed these values through past experiences that I have. Through school, through friends, through family, through work, through life. Every mistake I make, I learn to persevere and get myself up and tell myself I'll be stronger. Every tough situation I get, I tell myself, it's ok I'm learning it this time and I'll get it right the next time. It's the experiences that I go through that makes me stronger because that's how I learn, feel and experience what is it like for myself. You won't be able to learn all these through people telling you. You won't listen to it that way. You have got to experience and learn from there.

I've definitely faced difficulty in standing up for my belief and conviction. It was not such an easy process to get people to listen to you, or much rather accept you for who you are. But you've always got to stand strong on what you believe in, and not forgetting to also keep an open mind on how others will think of it as well. I've learnt in such a way that not everyone's going to like what you think and I've accepted that. You can't force mindset into people, that's not how it's going to work. The only thing you can do is to convince them slowly by taking baby steps.
I can't believe I wrote all these. Each paragraph is actually a different question, so it's normal if it doesn't link! hahaha. TGIF everyone! :)

Afternoon tea with the girls on Thursday. The food was just so-so standard only I guess. But for the ambience and location I guess $22++ was alright. May come back again if I'd like another tai tai experience. And hopefully a different variety of food next time, because honestly nothing was especially appealing to me when I got there. Only the savory section and the bread section I guess (but the bread section was more cos' of the toaster, heh) were good. Maybe it's cause I was expecting really cute desserts like cookies, cupcakes or oh no... there weren't scones either! :(

Nevertheless, a great time spent with the girls and a belated birthday celebration for Amanda too. :)

Caught Green Lantern with the boy at Cineleisure. Finally tried the Whopper Jr Nachos. Walked around and I've made up my mind that I'm gonna come back here one day to get some really cute stuffs! Had Frolicks after the movie, even though I'm always and forever will be Team Yoguru.
The movie was alright. Idk why but it reminded me of Harry Potter and Inception half of the time. Feed on fear = Dementor's kiss? Create things when you think about it = dream within a dream? Hahaha ahhhh well at least Blake's smokin' hawt character made up for it.

Toured around Chinatown like a tourist with Chelsea Chew! Always loved the zhu zhar tang at People's Park Hawker Centre. Walked around and found really cute chinese traditional items that were on sale at the street stalls. Got the family 4 pairs of chopsticks, even though I don't believe in zodiac, it was really adorable! Headed to PS Cafe after the shoot for some afternoon tea. Had the best juice and Chocolate Banana Butterscotch Cake. Such a relaxing place to be in, Ann Siang Hill. Will definitely be back again soon to explore this place!

A year ago, it was my first date with the boy. I mean who would remember such a thing other than the boy himself right! Hahaha even I (the girl who's suppose to remember) didn't store it inside my brain. Hehehe truely the best boyfee ever! ^^
Anyway headed to Seoul Garden to stuff ourselves with food cause we were planning to grow fat and die together anyway, so might as well start now right? Hahaha. Apparently I ate more than him, but he said he had more meat. So I'll let him win on this one. :) Headed to Jalan Kuras Ice Cream Chefs later on for some free ice cream and waffle cause I was craving and also cause I haven't seen the boss, who never fails to disturb me, for such a long time! He'll always make fun of how much I eat and say that my stomach has worms, hurtful... But oh wells, it was a nice catch up session with him. And also I couldn't help but touch every single thing in the kitchen (yep he complained again) cause I was too fascinated with everything. But nevertheless felt like a lost new sheep cause I don't know where everything is. :/ Ah whatever I know where everything is located in East Coast can already! hahaha.

Had a long weekend yesterday but still feeling really loved even though it's the Monday Blues. hehehe.
Started the Saturday by waking up after a 12 hours sleep cause clearly I didn't have enough sleep the day before. Surviving 37+ hours with less than 3 hours of sleep is definitely not funny at all. Hahaha, but at least I had a wonderful time with at NVPS and with my cell. :)
So anyway, Saturday. Got my dad his birthday + father's day present from Penin! Hehehe he so loved it. And made my way to Ignatius Ian's house and had dinner with his fam and then it's off for some XMEN goodness. Honestly, I'm not a fan of these kinda shows but it was really good!!! Wish I'm like Dr X though, and hehehe Lucas Till was so hot/cute.
AND SUNDAY WAS CONFIRMATION!!! Still remember 364 days before was the first day I stepped into SAC. ahhh, time flies. :) Lunch at Crystal Jade to celebrate the boy's popo's birthday (in advance) and night time was with my family for steamboat and swensen's! Hehehe. Yes, yesterday was eat and grow fat day! But I feel so blessed and love.

With the epic finale premiering soon and having Tom Felton winning Best Villan on MTV Movie awards on Sunday night just seems appropriate to post up these two videos. I nearly cried/died after seeing the 0:30 sec preview. Alright, now ending the post with the best graduation speech ever. I wish a similar one will appear in my graduation. Heh. Back to studying! Ever since the first day I heard the Faith+Hope+Love album, I fell in love with in. One year later, it still remains as the No. 1 song in my heart. God works in mysterious ways, in ways that we can't see.

A nice clique gathering on a bluish Monday. I love 85 market's food. I can't actually imagine myself not having these chicken wings, stingrays, ba chor mee, satay, zhu zha tang and more for a year! Hopefully the temporary area that they said is true and all good food are still there!
